What is the recommended age?
PG-13 – but let’s be honest, your 13 yr old has probably seen worse sexual innuendo, adult humor and language on TV.

Can I take photographs or video during the show?
The use of cameras, video equipment or flash photography is not allowed during the performance.
Is the Apollo Theater ADA accessible?
Yes. The theater is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the box office directly to purchase these seats at (773) 935.6100 or boxoffice@apollochicago.com.
Are there strobe lights in the show?
While there are not traditional “strobe” lights in the show, there are a number of flashing light effects and lights which shine into the audience during the performance.
Are there devices for hearing impaired and/or translation?
Unfortunately, Theatre 555 is not equipped with hearing devices or translation devices.

What is the late seating policy?
Late seating will be at the discretion of the house manager. Please note that latecomers may not be able to access their purchased seats. There is no intermission.
Can I bring food or drink into the theater?
Outside food and drink are not allowed in the theatre, but a full bar and concessions are available on site.

Ticketing Frequently Asked Questions
How will I receive my tickets?
Ticket buyers can choose e-tickets when they check out which will send them an email with tickets, or they can choose Will-Call to pick-up their tickets starting 1 hour prior to performances.
Can I purchase tickets at the box office or over the phone? What are the hours?
Yes, call (773) 935-6100 for phone orders. The Box Office Hours are: August 4-14: Mondays-Fridays, 12pm-5pm.
Starting August 18th: Wednesdays 12pm-5pm, Thursdays & Fridays 3pm-8pm, Saturdays 12pm-8pm, and Sundays 11am-3pm.
What is the range of ticket prices?
Standard Seats are $45 – $65, and Pink Lady Premium Seating begins at $85. All prices are all-in-pricing with ticketing fees included.
What is the refund / exchange policy?
If you’re unable to attend your original performance, contact the box office to request an exchange to a different performance. Exchanges are not guaranteed, but the box office will do their best to accommodate if seats are available. There are no refunds available.
